Google Disabled my account

This is the most most horrible thing I ever heard and made me cold like shit now. I keep thinking if I encounter such thing what should I do? I will feel helpless as you, and gona die.

Learn from your miserable, never ever send spam use Gmail.

Good luck man, keep "spam" Google bitches, and get your gmail back! Maybe you can tell them your gmail got hacked before and not u send those emails? No idea, but dont admit it maybe a good choice, and call them again and again.

Hope you survive man!

Edit: I think maybe because the Facebook case lately and Google now clearing potential harmful things?!

The transformation has begun.

I went to buy my new domain on Namechap, and then remembered, I registered on Namechap with my Gmail.

So I changed the email on Namechap to one of my Hotmails, and I'm about to buy my new domain name.

I gotta be careful, I don't want any important emails accidentally going to my Gmail (because if I don't get the Gmail back, I'll never be able to see those emails).

Before I made payment I remembered that Gmail was my primary email on my Paypal. Where I would receive all emails.

I just switched and made my Hotmail as primary, and I'm about to pay for my new domain.

Shit so delicate, I gotta think twice about every step I take. Fired up!

It's done. I have my new email, tested and working.

I'm happy for 2 reasons.

1. I was stressed. Now I can breathe again
2. This will never happen again - losing my main email so fast my head started spinning (fuck you google)

As far as the other shit. If Google doesn't restore my account. I'll replace the Webmaster tools and the Feedburner feeds to my other Google accounts. I have my bloggers backed up fully, I'll reupload them in 3 seconds flat. I have all my Youtube videos backed up, I'll recreate channels and reupload videos. I'll recreate Google+ pages, get them going again.

The only thing I won't be able to get back are the followers/subscribers/likes. And while many of them were from real people, many were also fake. I'll have to start with that again. But it's no problem. I don't care. I don't care because one thing I've learned in my Internet Marketing career is that you should never care about things you don't control. Youtube channels, Facebook Pages, Google+ Accounts, Fiverr accounts, Quora answers, Search Engine rankings, I don't care, I have no control over it.

I care about my websites, and I care about my customers, anything other than that... disposable, irrelevant, unimportant, comes and goes.

And now that my email is fully under my control, my business is more solid than ever. Stable. Good :)

I'm gonna keep banging on this thread, to keep myself accountable and to bounce ideas off of... the screen :p

I need to go forward all my emails to my new email (about 50 of them, split between my own websites, gmail, hotmail, yahoo, gmx, yandex, mail.ru/com)

Go!!!

One for Google. I have to :D

You sons a bitches im going home

Look, you can stay over mhya... but I'm going over mhya! :D

Okay. That's 5 emails from my personal websites. I forwarded them all to my new email. I tested the forwarding back and forth, it works. All perfect.

I also cleaned up all those emails - inbox, draft, sent, etc - emptied all folders, saved any info that needed saving.

That is done!

Now I'll clean up and change forwarding to 3 Hotmails I have...

Two good news.

1. I thought that my Paypal email on my Fiverr account is my Gmail. Turns out it's a Hotmail of mine that I have in there. So I don't have to contact Fiverr support to change that. Kickass!

2. I thought my Quora account was linked to my Gmail. I had some answers on Quora deleted last month, and I was saving the emails in order to repost that content on my own website. And with my Gmail (possibly) gone, I figured I may not be able to find those answers now. Well, maybe I could by going through my Quora account. Eh, but it wouldn've been so much easlier to just click the link in email, go to answer, copy, paste, edit, publish. Well... turns out my Quora linked to my Hotmail! I just realized it as I was cleaning out one of my Hotmail accounts. Fantastic. I'll get those emails back. Kickass!

I ain't scared of you motherfuckers! KICKASS!!! :D

You don't understand... I ain't scared of you madafakas!!! :D

I fell asleep. I woke up.

I tried logging in Gmail. It asked me to verify identity, phone number receive sms code, etc.

I have my Google account back...

I didn't receive any email or anything from Google.

My Webmaster is fine. My Feedburner is fine. Gmail is fine. Blogger is fine.

Youtube and Google+ are fine, but I did lose 1 Youtube Channel and 1 Google+ page. They were both for the same website. A website I sell Social Media Services on (likes, followers, etc).

I said earlier in this thread that I sent 40 cold emails and that may be why I got disabled. I just counted, and it was 28 emails that I had sent.

Even though they gave me my Google account back, it changes nothing. I still have to take my email situation under my control. I can never allow this to happen to me again. So I'll continue cleaning up my (closet lol) emails and changing the forwarding to my new self-hosted email.

However, I do like Gmail's interface and all, so I'll keep using Gmail. Here's the plan...

This is my current situation:

50 emails -> forward all incoming mail -> me@gmail.com

This will be my new situation:

50 emails -> forward all incoming mail -> name@myname.com -> forward all incoming mail -> me@gmail.com

Now if my Gmail/Google accounts takes a shit, bans me, whatever, I just go to my self-hosted email on Hostgator, and all my emails are there, safe and sound, like a baby in its mother's arms <3

Oh, and one more thing. I set up Gmail with smtp or whatever, so now when I send emails using my Gmail, it actually uses my Hostgator email as the Sender Email. Kickass!

I used this to get it done. Easy and quick, tested and works :)

Okay guys. Yesterday when I started this thread I was so worried and paranoid. Now, this will never happen to me again. Control Increased! I feel good! :)

Okay, had a bit of a problem with some emails not hitting the Inbox on Gmail after being forwarded. The emails would go to All Mail, but not to the Inbox. I looked into it and I discovered some filters I put in place ages ago. Fixed it.

The only thing I'm unsure of is, I had set up my emails to be forwarded from Hostgator email to Gmail. I tested it, and for some reason it didn't work. Could be the filters, as I figured that out later.

But when I was setting it up Hostgator gave a notification explaining why it's best to use the Gmail Fetch option instead of the forwarding. So then I set that up.

Now the forwarding works fine just fine. But I have BOTH the forwarding "hostgator to gmail" set up, and I have the "fetch (POP3) from my hostgator email" thing set up on Gmail. I wonder if having both set up could be problematic down the line.

I don't know. Seeing as things are working now, I'll leave both the Hostgator Forwarding and the Gmail Fetching (POP3) active as it is. If it causes some problem down the line, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. And if anyone has any advice on this, can foresee a problem, lemme know :)

Glad its back lol. One more tip for guys: never use GMX email, I got same situation as you, and I did nothing, nothing!

Glad its back lol. One more tip for guys: never use GMX email, I got same situation as you, and I did nothing, nothing!

Thank man. You should see how glad I am :)

I have 4 GMX emails. I barely use them.

Ultimately it's always the same thing. Wanna start a serious website long-term, don't use a free service. Wanna have a serious email long-term, don't use a free service.

Waking up a few years ago to find my first ever blogger blog suspended, bummer. Waking up a few years ago to find my Fiverr account suspended, bummer. Waking up the other day to find my Google account disabled, bummer.

That old blogger is now a self-hosted wordpress website, happy and safe :)

I still sell on Fiverr, I have 2 accounts, but I don't care about those accounts at all and I never promote my Fiverr gigs, I only rely on whatever customers I get from within Fiverr. And if Fiverr bans any of them, dust on my shoulders. And... when Fiverr suspended my account 2-3 years ago, I got pissed and started a Fiverr clone, wanted to steal any customers I could from them, even if they'll never feel it. Well, that website made me a few thousand dollars, and I'm still banking with it. That website is a self-hosted wordpress website, happy and safe :)

And my Google account getting disabled. Well, the biggest problem I had to face yet. But from chaos comes order. I'm glad it happened. If it hadn't happened now, it might/would have happened eventually anyway at a later date, and it could have been a much bigger problem for me then. But now, my new Main email is a self-hosted email with my own domain name, residing on my hostgator hosting, happy and safe :)

Completed my Hotmails, now I'm gonna do my Yahoos.

The reason it's taking me a little time to complete this the way I want, is because I also have sales and customer messages to deal with in the meantime, but I also haven't cleaned up my emails for well over a year, and since I'll be accessing all of them, I'm also cleaning them all up. But I don't want to just delete All on everything, I'm quickly but carefully going through all those emails, catching anything I may need to save or visit.

Moving on my Yahoo emails now...

I completed my Yahoo emails. Now I'll do my GMX emails...

I did the GMX emails. Now I'll do 2 Yandex mails and 1 Zoho mail I have, just for good measure :)

I cleaned up my Yandex and Zoho emails, set up forwarding to my new email. I also went to do it on my Rediffmail emails, but it seems that they either don't have a forwarding option available, or it's only available for Pro/Paid accounts. Anyway, I cleaned the Rediffmails up too, emptied out the accounts, didn't set any forwarding up as the option is not available.

Now I'm going to sleep. I'm running out of fuel, been going strong for 16 hours now...

On second thought, I'll make another cup of coffee and go take care of the Mail.com and Mail.ru emails too. Clean up and forwarding (if available). I'll sleep when I'm dead!!!

Nah haha, I'll sleep when that's done :)

Mail.com forwarding only allowed for Premium/Paid accounts. So I just cleaned up my Mail.com emails.

Cleaned up and forwarded a bunch of Mail.ru emails. Done and Done!

Okay, I'm done for today. I pretty much did the easy more repetitive stuff. Tomorrow I have to clean up and forward my Gmails, and change email on some sites from my Gmail to my self-hosted email.

I also have to see about the Youtube channel and Google+ page that Google deleted from my account. I can still open the channel and the page, go to the URLs and see the videos/page, but if I try and access the channel or the page, I'm taken to the page where I'm disabled, and it's asking me to login. I was paranoid, didn't want to try and login. I'll look into this tomorrow. I'll probably go in and delete that channel and page completely, if that's possible. They're pages for a website where I sell social media services (likes, followers etc), I'm not appealing that one :D

And it seems Google disabled another Google account of mine. It seems to me they disabled my main Google account and one of my secondary ones at the same time. That other Google account I always used behind a proxy, though it's some bullshit free proxy I get from a Firefox addon. I'll see if it's really disabled, decide whether to appeal it or not, and if I don't appeal (or if I do and don't get it back) I'll have to go and change that email on all the accounts on all the websites I'm registered with it, change where I have it as recovery email for other emails, change it everywhere I used it basically.

And to go change the email on important sites, hostgator/namechap/paypal/etc, from my gmail to my self-hosted email.

Okay, tomorrow is a new day, and it's all planned out. Good night now :)
