Google decaching a website?

So a few months ago my adsense was banned. I have been working on my new site for some time now. I have moved all the articles from blogger over into wordpress and they are saved as drafts. I then deleted the blog today.

How long will I have to wait before I can post the articles on my new site without getting duplicate content or possibly facing a penalty?

Have you sent a URL removal request?
The only way I know of is manually requesting they be removed.

Google webmaster tools -> Optimization -> Remove URLS

Ive seen it work in 3-4 days.

I have not. I put in a request to remove the homepage url and it has said pending site deletion all day.

I think you have to remove them manually.
