Google dance?

Hi Guys,

So I have two corporate clients whose sites that were each sitting on page 1 spot 8-10 for highly competitive keywords like "web design, seo services, etc" each got pushed back 2 pages this last week.

Its a bit discouraging because I have been seeing a nice steady serp movement since July, and as soon as I hit page 1 I was given a brief 2-4 week grace period and then the sites each fell back 2 pages.(currently page 3/4)

I am wondering, is this the infamous google dance? I was sooo close to having both of them on page 1!!

In my opinion it is because of Google dance. Google recently update its algorithm which affect the keyword and site ranking.
You have to give more efforts and continuous do quality work. Definitely it will help you to get 1st rank.

Don't stop what you are currently doing (in terms of SEO), and hopefully you will get some stable position(s) sooner or later.

Without any doubt its due to Google dance. As you are telling that you were steady for several months, but remember one thing that you have started SEO for few months. That's the reason of this type of behavior.
