Ok this is starting to get rediculous. About 2 months ago I was ranking on the front page of google in spot 10 for a pretty competitive keyword and was sitting there confortably. I ordered a few different packages from members on this forum including xrumer blasts, profile backlinks etc. With a week or two of this happening my site jumped up to the number 5 spot on google so I was understandably excited.

Thats where its all started to fall apart. My site has entered the google dance i believe. For the last 2 months my site has gone in a pattern like this:

1 day it will be position 5 on the front page of google for my chosen keyword, then for the next 1-2 weeks it totally drops out of the top 100. After that period it is then back at position 5 for a single day then dropped out completely again. As you can imagine this is getting quite frustrating after 2 months of this consistantly happening to me.

Any thoughts/suggestions as to where to go from here? Or just keep plugging away with the backlinking?

Thanks in advance.

It has happened to couple of my new sites too recently. I kept on adding good content and building links regularly - Two of my sites are now there on the first page for very competitive keywords for last 2 months. These sites are six month old. However the dance continues for my other site which is 4 month old.

I noticed this dance happens only for those sites where I am targeting a very competitive word (more than 10 million). When the competition is low (around 0.5 million) I don't see this problem with new sites.

Thanks for the insight. My search term is only getting 4.5million pages in google when searched but the competition is high. Hopefully it will all iron itself out in good time.

Guys..... Just a note 10M is not a competitive keyword (and the number of results is not a good measure anyway).
