Hi

Two days back my site is in 1st page i build some backlinks to it(high pr **************** blog commenting) and now my site is not in top 1000!! Using Market Samurai I checked the rankings now its showing "Ranking Page is indexed in Google but not ranking for the keyword" :confused: Is it a GOOgle dance or Google Sandbox? Will My site will come up with good rankings :D ?

Waiting For the answers :)

Thanks

Google dance and google sandbox are just different names for the same thing...as long as you haven't been de-indexed by G then you're all good.

The Site is not deindexed :)

How Can i reduce the sandbox time?

Not to worry..One of my blogs went from 1500 uv and 30-35$/day from adsense down to 0.25c/day and 190 uv/day but within three weeks it was back up there,then recently it happened again so I am waiting out to see if it will come back up again.
Be patient and most important-diversify your income streams.

you can reduce the sandbox time by continually building backlinks

yeah patient is the Key to make money online

I had a similar situation on one of my newer sites last week;

I was 6th then 530th and now I checked today and I'm 5th, this has all happened within the last week or so and seems to be what everyone experiences.

I heard that the "Google Sandbox" is a bit of a myth and it also seems that when you go through this you come back stronger than before as I did.

I have noticed that often when link building to a new site i can rise quite high, then all of a sudden it will drop several pages for a few days or even weeks. Just keep link building and eventually you will get to where you deserve.

I have the same problem as Bennyb with a 6 month old site that ranks on the first page for multiple keywords. 2 months ago it dropped out of the top 200, returned to the same positions 3 weeks later for a month and a few days ago dropped all the way out again after dancing between the first two pages for a week.

I really hate this, because you do not know if there is a problem beyond google dancing ro whatever it is doing.

Hey Benny, can you post when your site comes back? I will do the same.

Hey Guyz My Site is back and it is now in #5

But Today Google Dance Started With another Site From #19 to #630!!

I Think there will be increase in Rank For the New Site also :)

backlinks-->G dance-->backlinks-->ranked high-->backlinks-->G dance-->backlinks-->ranked higher......

Anyone have a dance where they are out of the top 200 with a 1 yr old domain for a few weeks? I thought his only happened with newer domains, so I am a bit worried since my usual dance is jumping back and forth between page 1 and 4 or so after a link building campaign.

I still have all my pr and all pages are indexed.

This seemed to happen the day after I changed my title tag slightly and completed 14 high pr blog comments( over a 1 week period and did not ping the pages I commented on)

I have a site thats doing the same. Its about a month old, first noticed it at position 80, got up to #10 then all of a sudden fell to 30 and it loses about 2 spots a day. Last i checked it was in the low 40s.
