Hi guys i am goping to buy some info domains for autoblogs?
do google crawls .info domains?

From my recent experience no but i suppose if you do the corrent SEO they maybe.
 
Google has crawled my site 90+14 times this month alone and I have a .info domain.

I guess this is the reason that my Google search traffic keeps rising.
 
I have a .info site that gets crawled every time I make a new post, so yes google crawls .info sites.
 
As has been mentioned Google will crawl your .infos. All domains are treated the same when it comes to crawling.

i just bought domain www.healthinfo.info
the monthly search volume for the keyword Health Info is 60,000
so is there any potential to get that traffic with .info domain?
 
Who said that google don't crawl .info. I am ranking on 2nd page on google for a very competitive keyword with a .info domain..
 
.info's is a top TLD like .com, .net, and .org so it is treated the same.

The only thing is visitors sometimes don't trust .info's and it's quite a well known fact that .com's convert better than it's .info counterparts.
 
Yes, most definitely! I bought an .info domain earlier last week, and i thought it won't get indexed. However, after doing link building and SEO by the help of one of the mods :) I got it indexed.

off-topic but i don't find it on the forum...

i have some good keywords but all domains are registered...if i add shop at the end "keywordshop.com" will it be a big disadvantage for seo ranking?

why it will be disadvantage with SEO point of view... Nothing wrong with it... You can go ahead and buy domain and make site on them...

ok, i thought "exact" domains like "DogToys.com" rank much better then "DogToysShop.com"
 
offcourse it crawls.i have ranked plenty of these on front page besides,autoblogs on .info too get crawled.

so just curious about to see the actual proof.

Of course Big G crawls .info sites. Heck they crawl all sites and domains. Even if its .sam2009 type of domain it would still crawl it. That is why they call it Spider, it crawls everywhere.

i agree they are not common,but thats bcoz of this myth only.
maybe you are new here,thats why you said to him to post his site,but asking someone to post his site or reveal his niche,is kinda tabboo on this forum.lol
