Google crawled my page... and submitted random data to my opt in form...

lol the spiders do crazy stuff sometimes (like: giving rep, using search feature etc) but thats absurd to optin to your newsletter.

that email doesn't seem to be generated by random, it seems that a person typing random characters they are all in the same raw and in the right/left no characters from the middle of the keyboard

Just a thought

I think it's because the bot checking if the form works or soemthing .. like having a 101 ways to check if site is really working

I get this kind of stuff all the time on the contact page of one of my clickbank websites. I always assumed it was some kind of automated bot or software because I get a ton of offers for other CB products as well.

It is automated software trying to harvest emails or find places to sneak in a back link. Nothing you can do to stop it really.

but yeah - thats true google could be testing my form works - I would believe that.

It says mountainview and I know mountainview is good!
And there was no referrer.
