Hi every one

Content is the King . Im i wrong gys ? because i have mad two websites with unique and high quality content ( its static website HTML + CSS + JS) I also added sitemap on google webmaster tools

At the first days i really get my website in the first three results but after 1 week i been at page 5
So there are many questions here :

The content is no enough ?
Do i have to add back link ?
or i just need to wait because the website still new ?

What is the best way to keep your static website have a good rank ?

Yes it may be that your website is new. Building backlinks is very much essential. So go for it. Develop more contents, keep the content more relevant and if possible do content marketing. Keep on doing off page SEO, it always takes some considerable time to get ranking.

You certainly do need a good amount of backlinks - it's a bit like have a "this info is good" pointed back at you. Outreach maybe your first step :)

When you build backlinks, don't forget that quality is always better than quantity. It would be detrimental to your website if you spam your website with poor quality backlinks. Instead of boosting your website, it might pull your website further down.

Your site is new so it might fluctuate. For a new site always start building backlinks slowly and then increase the pace. Don't go for large link blast etc that could be harmful.

Having content is great but you do need the backlinks to start noticing any kind of results in terms of ranking. Mixing both content and backlinks should help with results.

Give more backlink to authority site its helps and your keyword and niche should be in your site related.

Build more backlinks to your site.

Content is queen.

Get some backlinks for the #1 spot

Without backlinks and being on page 5... that's a good start! Now just start building backlinks :). Like many have pointed out, it's pretty essential.

Thank you gys for your comments
But you know its too much work to build back links manual, so is the automatic backlinks that use the tools for posting comment and ,.... Safe ? it has the same power as the manual ones or you just need to know how to do it , and if yo dont mind to give me some tools so i can write my backlinks

Thank you gys

I wouldn't use automated back links to link directly to your site. I would build some quality web2.0s manually and link them to your site. Then use GSA to build automated links to each web2.0. That should keep your site a little safer from being slapped by Google

Not only content but you also need backlinks, seo, hosting & domain, speed.... to raise your website rank.

You need good, quality backlinks to get noticed by Google. Good content is important, but the links are just as critical in the beginning.

I've jumped on the "content" bandwagon lately - mainly because I like writing so much. I'm pushing out quality articles and exposing them on social media. Add a touch of addmefast and then watch for traffic.

Content is king, but backlinks are a princess and kings need princesses for survival.

lol what? First time I've heard this expression.

Anyways OP, yes you're going to need high quality backlinks. Content itself is not enough to rank well by itself unless the competition is extremely weak or non existent. Or unless you already own a high authority domain with lots of backlinks going to it (other pages), in which case you can just do on page seo + internal linking and see where it lands you.

Ranking with content isn't as important as most people make it out to be. I often use auto generated/spun garbage on my test sites when I want to test out a new keyword and then once the garbage sticks, I swap it out for real content. Write quality content for better conversions, social interaction, and to help it stick longer. Focus on backlinks for initial rankings.

I would keep adding content and gradually put some manual high quality backlinks in the mix. Plenty of info here on what they could be.But
keep adding content and give something to the spiders to feed on.
