Go to google.com and look at the animation. I like it. More minimalist, similar to how Microsoft and other companies have changed their logos as well. Thoughts?

Is it just me or they also changed their search buttons? Because I just noticed them ._. (and I don't remember the last time I used Feeling Lucky button...)

Anyway, I find the new logo addictive, it's like drugs to the eyes!

why do big companies create simple logos like this, can you imagine car companies doing sh*t like this. Is this how they spend all their free monies??

The whole internet gets more and more designed for the majority of people.
I'd say in the beginning, the IQ of the average person being online was above the worldwide average IQ by at least 20 points.
Now, that everyone goes online no matter how stupid they are, websites look like for old people (huge buttons/fonts) and simplified to the extreme (as the new google logo). They are just adjusting to their audience I guess ^^

I rarely open just google home anymore. So I have been seeing minimal logo for years. I use the right click and search option to get to google, and their logo is always tiny and located in the top left of the screen. I did notice it was different, just thought it was some body's 200th birthday or something
