Google "changes name" to Alphabet

Alphabet seems like a pretty lame name for a company other than a company offering educational products mostly.
 
It has not changed its name, its not rebranding

they have made a new holding company

I don't really care at all about this new umbrella company move in general.
But I do have to say, In true Google fashion they picked a pretty kickass URL for Alphabet.
 
google is full of alpha beta people, hence the name name "Alphabet".

Feeling very DUMB, took me 1-2 minutes to finally get the joke:stupido:. Kept repeating "The alphabet has 26 letters" unless your from my country which has 28
