I'm not sure if this is the right topic area to post in, but here goes.

I am getting a Google search error any time I do anything at home. I am using several programs such as Niche Inspector, Bookmarking Demon, etc.

When I try to use google search I am getting some type of warning screen that says it looks like I am spamming or using automatic submissions software.

I think this is from overuse of the software packages, but is this correct?

Also, is there a good guide or can someone guide me through the process of setting up proxy servers in order to keep from getting my IP banned by google and other problems that might be forthcoming?

THanks in advance, and mods, if this isn't the right spot to post this in, let me know.

I've had that problem too (with keyword expert). Some software takes care of the problem for you and some don't. If the software doesn't automatically do it, you should be able to enable and use proxies by looking through the softwares setting options.
Hope this helps.

Yes it is, I get this when using my super harvester... there is nothing wrong or no virus. G is just being protective. I think it is for your sake though incase it was a virus....

It will go away after a few hours, having the same "problem" now lol.

Michel, I'm not so sure it will be gone in a few hours. I started seeing it back in December. I believe there was a previous thread here about it but it's nothing to worry about

Just use a proxy to search google if you want a quick solution. I've just set a basic one up here for anyone interested - http://blockitnot.com .

I know it's not the prettiest but I'll probably edit it later ;)

Search via scroogle dot org /scraper.html they support ssl as well.

Thanks guys for all the help! I am familiar with how proxies work, and have been trying to find some, but keep getting no luck. I will keep looking around, I just didn't want to get my IP addy banned or run into other problems.

wealthy, thanks for the link, I'll give it a try.
