Google Beacons

My clients are starting to receive these. Has anyone had negative experiences from installing one?

There are 900 ways to make money with beacons; 845 of them are BH and the other 55 or so are generally acceptable by the public.

Yeah, people are making good money with them.

Yah, I know. I was wondering if anyone else had received one directly from Google. Three clients have received them now. One of them isn't really a location that gets a lot of traffic so I'm not sure that installing it is the best idea.

There are third party entities that you can use for that; you need traffic to make it work but you don't need to put it in your own store/location as long as you can hide it well to drive traffic.

Scenario:

You own a small business a mile a way from a major box store that sells similar products.

Johnny consumer comes along and sees product A in big box store but gets an alert that a local store may have that at 20% less on his phone.

What is Johnny consumer going to do?
