It will be much better because it is product from Google. All the hype that chatgpt created will move towards bard now.

Who said? They had this for years they didn’t launch it cause it didn’t work well. Now they’ll copy bing disclaimer and add I’m just a chatbot I can be wrong and try to get away

Wait for some time and you will see the response. Whatever product Google copied, they did it better than others like search engine.

But i've seen it and it sounds retarded.
I admit it. But as @paisawaisa said Google used to swallow all the talents and technologies developed by others very easily. And they will become the monopoly in it.

Yes, I've been hearing a lot of bad reviews about Google's Bard.
It's clunky, and its information is incomplete.
It seems like Google is holding back.
The future of search is the ChatGPT-type platform.
ChatGPT has gone a long way in changing consumers' expectations of search results.
People are sick and tired of being presented with a list of results and having to click through the results to piece together the right answers in their heads.
First, many people do not have the time to do that; they don't feel they have the intelligence to do an adequate job.
ChatGPT simplifies everything because when you enter your question, out comes an answer that gives the impression that it is the "answer."
You don't have to go through the internet to verify the stuff because it is the answer.
This is the big challenge that Google has to deal with, and, unsurprisingly, Google Bard is a half-assed effort.
They know that the handwriting is on the wall.
If they do a good job of beating ChatGPT with this one-answer format, where does this leave their ad revenues?
Remember that 53% to 58% of Google's profits come from ads.
Unsurprisingly, the first reiteration of Google Bard is an abortion.
Is it improving over time? Probably.
But I hope you can understand the internal conflict that Google is facing regarding a ChatGPT-type search interface.
