google banned website, help...

Hi All,

I am looking for some help / suggestions.

I purchased a new domain name for an amazon site. I did not check it for blacklines or any history and after I could not get listed with google. I did a search on ahref and found that it had a bunch of spam blacklinks. I am guessing the owner did lots of other "bad" things in google's eyes.

I submitted a request to google to reconsider the ban and got a generic reply of no, that I am still violating there quality guidelines, what ever that means. All the content is written by me[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] and not copied from other pages.

As I see it I have 2 options:

1) I try and figure out what is upsetting google and submit another request to reconsider the ban.
2) purchase another domain and move the content to this new domain and try again.

Can anyone comment on these suggestions or another suggestion that I am not thinking of?

Unless the domain is really good, I'd say it is not worth the hassle. Move your content to another domain.

Will google connect the old content with the new site and ban that? Do I need to pull it down first, wait some time, then put up the new site? Anything I need to consider doing this path?

Move to another domain and visit this link and remove the pages of your old site from google's index first..

No. If your original site isn't indexed you can safely take down the content and immediately put it on a new domain.

Move to another domain it will be cheaper than having more issues with it up the road after you've spent good money to customize it, SEO it and get it populated.

Save yourself the headache. Just spend the $10 and buy a new domain.
