Google Ban Question.

I've noticed all blogspot blogs ending with .in has PR N/A even though they are indexed and have some PR when the same blog is ending with .com. What is this shit? Can't understand.

Example, http://inbministry.blogspot.com has PR 4. But when URL is given as http://inbministry.blogspot.in, PR is N/A. :hmmmm2:

BTW, if a blogspot blog is banned, will removing all spammy links, plagiarized content, etc automatically lift the ban after Google crawls it again after some time?

Blogspot is a bit of a pain like that with it's redirections to country specific domains. It seems to vary for me, I've just tested a couple of blogspot sites I use and one of them has the same PR for both the .com and .co.uk, but the other has N/A for the .co.uk.

If your blog is banned and you're looking to remove most things anyway, why wouldn't you just start a new one? Probably a lot easier than the old reconsideration path...

It seems like they are treated as separate websites. Don't sweat about it too much, though. It doesn't matter at all. I don't know about the ban question, but I doubt it. It's best to remove all the spammy stuff, and then contact Google and ask for forgiveness.

They're seen as different sites, as they're on different domains. For some reason Blogspot automatically detects your location and sends you to the appropriate .com, .co.uk, .in or whatever. Suffice to say it'll probably mean that links are pointing all over the place.

I've been building links for myblogxyz.com. But people from my country will only be able to go to myblogxyz.in :banghead:
