Google Ban Hidden Div with keywords

Guys i've got a question: would google ban me for having keywords inside a hidden div ? I tried just putting them on the page but it doesn't look good.

they possibly ignore the keywords + you risk a ban

I guess the hidden div is between <!-- --> tags .. if so, don't worry, google will NOT bann you for this

So what would be a good way to put the keywords on the page without making it mess up my page.

i've placed them at the bottom of the page there but it doesn't look that good.

Edit: I've just read the second reply, no I was planning on using display:none;

Fixed it another way, hope it works

Will not ban you, but he will penalize you in SERPS

I've found another solution, I changed the title to have some of the keywords and added a few things to the title.

Don't use display none, just position it off the page with something like left:-500px. And don't keyword stuff without making it a keyword rich, readable human sentence or paragraph. (If you are particularly looking at ranking with Google SERPS.)

I don't think you will be banned but technically this is cloaking. You are showing the search engines different content than an actual visitor. If you have a lot of hidden content and they do a human review they could ban you I guess.

Just have a link on your page that will display the hidden content when someone clicks on it. This way it looks like you're just doing the ajax/web2.0 thing. Of course the content of your hidden div must be human readable...

as a few people have mentioned positioned off to the left with css works just fine... you will see some joomla template creators doing this.... and the sites they link to have extremely high google pr
