Hi folks. I have a couple of newbie questions, I hope you don't mind. It's my first post.

Suppose Google deindexes a website for using black-hat techniques. Does this have an effect on other websites sharing the same IP?

Is it good practice to have your black-hat and white-hat sites on separate hosting accounts?

Is there any benefit (in terms of SEO) to having your website hosted on a dedicated IP?

    Thanks for the help!

No, google will deindex your website and not IP. What I understand is they are not all related to the hosting account by IP or DNS.

Lets consider this point,,, there are 10 website in one IP and 5 websites are indexed..that does not mean that other five will get indexed automatically. Blacklisting of IP normally happens with mail server and not with indexing.

Its always better to separate the BH and WH website in separate IP (preferably different C class) because if one of your website get caught by Big G, it will be easy for the other websites also to get a crack.

(One of my friend made a autoblog using autoblogged software 3 months back and he was just using google trends to scrap content. Google loved him and in one month, he started getting daily visit of 10000+ and after 45 days it went upto 60K+ per day and it maintained the same traffic throughout for the last 3 months...... and YESTERDAY HIS SITE GOT DEINDEXED and the point to note that his G adsense account also got Banned). So one advise is not to use adsense for safety of your account. If your earning goes high, they will surely chk your website manually.. instead use CPA

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

If google was banning all sites hosted on the IP your BH site is hosted imagine what will happen with shared hosting plans, where thousands of sites are hosted on 1 ip.
