Hi,
I'm looking for a way to modify Google autosuggest that works nowadays.
I have hired a number of microworkers who did about 150 searches during 3-4 weeks (for each keywords) but there are no any changes yet.
Hey,
I have been working on this (mildly successfully) for the last 6 months... Google now not only takes into consideration 'traffic' to keywords you want to add to auto suggest. I found that if i created a website and did some minor on page seo and external link build + connected social pages, it also had a major impact on the auto suggest.
for example...
when you searched 'My Business Name' (leaving my biz name anon) the autosuggest would be:
My Business Name Complaints
My Business Name Reviews
My Business Name contact us
We wanted to manipulate these results to remove 'complaints and 'reviews' as these lead to pages with negativity related to our business.
For ages we tried to just send manual traffic to other search options... even created a bot that used multiple fresh daily IP's to conduct searches to manipulate this...
We found that if we created a Wordpress Blog with the specific domain name as the keyword we want in there this had an immediate impact... Ie. we created a wordpress blog with custom url called: My-Business-Name-keyword d07 (0m and then created a facebook, twitter and linkedin page under the same name linked to this blog, it started to show up in the autosuggest within 48 hours. (of course you need to add a little content, a video ... basic seo stuff too)
This has just been some of my findings...
I know Google takes into consideration ALOT more than this, but fresh content on a new domain seems to trigger the auto-suggest results.
It's a relatively low cost online reputation management strategy
