Hi guys,

I've search around the forum and can't see to find a thread with a solid answer, just trolls and stupidity, so I'm asking in a new thread hoping to gain some insight from actual people.

So, my problem is I have one website that gained a lot of branded searches. After poking around in WMT, I noticed that dropped in the past week. I was thinking "oh yeah, this could be from the Penguins and the things" (I hope you read that like Bill Cosby) but when I did a manual search for the brand, BAM, some other fucker comes up with a slightly adjusted name, from a country on the other side of the world!

Sure, my name comes up when I press enter, but my main issue is the auto suggest as my clients are the most search savvy folk, so they click on the suggested name.

My question is.... How can I resolve this nonsense?

So far I've looked into crowd searching with clicks, using more branded links from editorial and bookmarks, throwing some social signals with the brand at the domain. The website also uses a contact/about page in one, perhaps separating them with some schema could help.

What are you thoughts ages old wise ones???

Those guys that came up with a slightly adjusted names, do they offer similar services as you do? Because if they do, you might not have a full control over what Google chooses to show up in the Auto suggest. Google wants the best for their users, so the Auto-suggest is just one the many ways they do it.

What I will advice you do is leave it as it is. Just continue to provide great content and find a way to tell your visitors the difference between your brand name and your looters' brand names instead of ranting here and there.

I know where you can solve this
But you need to learn Vietnamese :) i know one Vietnamese software can do this
