Hello.
Google ads, since 2022, from time to time asks for the "confirm it's you" verification whenever you try to complete some relevant change, making it's necessary to have enabled any of the verification options listed by google to verify yourself and complete the action.
I was wondering what do you think about google authenticator app as the verification option for this. Because until now I was adding Spanish long lasting numbers to all accounts I have been having, regardless of their country, and it was working well, because the numbers were mine and completely clean. Nevetherless, using google authenticator would be more comfortable.
However, dozens of the accounts will be secured with the same app, installed on the same android device.
I am not logged directly to the accounts, they are just secured with the same app by scanning a QR code.
Does google check that, does it affect anything?
Is there any difference regarding google's trust for an account being secured with a google authenticator app in comparison to phone number (sms)?
Please answer ONLY if you have experience in this scenario and know what you're talking about. Speculations won't help.
