Which web analytic system is best for web analysis? Google Analysis or Piwik. I need your opinions on this. Please give your suggestions.

Both are good. If you want access to a lot of data, info, etc use Piwik. if you want more basic info go with Google Analytics.

I don't think Piwik is better then Google Analytics , although I haven't tried Piwik yet .You might be able to get more data from Piwik but for ease of use and reliability I would go with Google .

But if you don't want to give Google all your data, etc. Piwik looks like a really good alternative.

not worth starting a new thread for , but can PIWIK import data from Analytics (or does analytics even have an export function)?

I want to dump analytics but need/want the history.

I think if you remove the GA tracking code from your site, you are still able to access your historic GA data.

Piwik is great but its hosted at your server...i used it on a dedicated server and it crashed it:) if you plan to use it for many domains check first reviews about resources it needs
