Google Analytics Vs Piwik For Flipping

Hey everyone,

I search but couldn't really find anything about this. So, if it has been asked before I am sorry .

I have a site I am wanting to flip. It has good traffic and makes decent money. However, I use Piwik for my analytics data. I noticed that most of the sites on flippa use google analytics for reporting. Would it be worth it for me to switch to GA for a couple of month to get data before I list it, or will the piwik data be ok?

Well depends on how transparent you want to be. As far as screen shots you can post the same data.

However Piwik has a distinct advantage if you have nothing to hide. You can set up a temporary user account for any website and PM credentials so a potential customer can view all the stats in real time and do some serious looking around. If you have a valuable website that is on the up and up then this is MUCH BETTER than any GA screen shots. You can shut down that temp account and have full control over it. Just don't let it have administrator rights. View only.

Many others will post AWstats also as that is a pretty common traffic indicator.

You can put GA and use Joinme, wich enable live computer screen visualisation.

Piwik is fine, lots of people just post their traffic info from their hosting site. No problems with posting piwik info

LMAO, when I last looked at Flippa it looked like most sellers posted their stats from Photoshop
