I think this would be a great value added service. This is tricky. I think you could provide basic information which would be good food for thought but ideally I think your time would be more wisely spent on reporting on information that has to do with your client's goals and whatever it is you are doing for them. For instance if your tasks are to drive more traffic to a site, then you should show them reports on how your efforts are accomplishing that. If the goal is to get a page ranked for a particular keyword, then you could send them keyword reports that (hopefully) show you making progress.
In my experience clients want to see detail that directly relates to what their goals are for the website. Generic reports of where people are visiting from in the world and the top ten most visited pages are always good side shows but ultimately showing reports that don't have much to do with specific goals related to your relationship with the client wastes time and makes more work for you.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is show them reports that support your success/progress in what they have asked you to do for them.
