Do you guys use Google Analytics and/or Google Webmaster Tools? Do you believe google will track you down If you use either one or both? Is it safe?

I am debating on whether to use it or not but I am afraid of getting caught with my auto blogs (even though their all connected under one adsense account).

There's nothing "sketchy" about using Google Analytics. Trust me. It's a great tool and really helps you out with some data. I'm sure they won't detect your auto blogs from using it.

People get this idea that Google track you in every way possible.

This maybe true, however you are tracked by different departments, ran in different countries!

Google has the standard big business problem. They are too big. Look how long it takes USA changes to get to the UK. How long it has taken for the AdSense team to agree to share data to the Analytics team.

Google Analytics do not care about the sites they track, they use the information for benchmarking and seeing what services are used.

The Analytics team want to have the best analytic software out their so the really big business buy their premium stuff, they do not care about single sites.

One word of warning. Do not link accounts that have bans on them. This is nothing to do with Analytics but with Google services, if you link a ban AdSense account that uses analytics to your new AdSense account that works, AdSense may pick up on it. However Analytics never will, they do not care. Not their department.

Out of departments to fear in Google, Analytics will always be the bottom for me.

    tl;dr
You're safe to use both on all of your websites forever.

i dont use analytics or webmaster tools.. why? beacuse they will track you down sooner or later..specially if its Blackhat site..if its whitehat then you can use it..but i have been trying to get away from google as much i can...beacuse when they ban your site then you are gone.

Well if you want to not use Analytics then try Piwik. You host it all yourself and no outside source can view it if you don't want them too.
