Google Allintitle inconsistent results

Hi BHW members

I was just doing some keyword research and came across this

Does the allintitle give you inconsistent results sometimes?

I tried it for the keyword "targeted email marketing" and it was 4740 results on Friday and today it gives 35,100 results today

Have you come across this before?

Try this allintitle:"hedge fund management" , gives 52000 results...now go to the 20th page and it gives 209 results

Moreover, the number sometimes changes after 15 minutes too.

Thats normal for a lot of things u search on google

In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 211 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.

When you do allintitle search do it properly:

allintitle:Keyword

Don't put quotes around the keyword, and base the results on the first page. Don't base it on when you click page 20, etc.

Also, remember that there are thousands of sites being indexed / deindexed every day, so the results will change weekly by a bit.

I know that this happens for all Google searches

But, should we consider the allintitle searches while doing competition analysis and keyword research or not?

If yes, then which number should be taken into consideration?

The number on the last page i.e. 209 in this case or the number on the first page which is 52000?

and why does this number change every 1-2 days....I dont think so many people use a specific title in a matter of 1-2 days

When we do it with quotes, it gives those pages which are using the term exactly as it is

When you do it without quotes, it gives a combination of the following

1.those pages which are using the term exactly as it is
2.those pages which are using the terms separately in any order
3.those pages which are using 2 terms out of a 3 term keyword

Moreover, I truly understand that there are thousands of sites being deindexed/indexed regularly, but should the numbers for a certain keyword change by a matter of ten thousands in 24-48 hrs?
