Anyone notice that sites with less to 0 backlinks able to outrank those with more backlinks?
This happened to my site which has very less backlinks compared to my other competitors.

My site was under them all this time, but recently i able to outrank them without building any backlinks.

Age of content and good onsite SEO can do miracles with less competitive keywords.

It depends on many factors. Quality of the backlinks not the quantuty, onpage seo or if it is brand website etc. Nothing is changed at all.

wait for days before you come to conclusion, google now a days testing & testing before giving you actual serp position.

Can you rank 100ms non-commercial SERPs with no links? Sure why not. Just make a well optimized subpage and it may rank.

But any competitive SERP, especially ones where root domains pack the top 10, cannot be ranked without links.

Some of those sites with links might have been penalized and google might just be doing a shuffling in the serps.
