Google Adwords: WTF

Hi All,

So I got banned from Google Adwords for a violation of their T&C, of course. So I wrote them an email to tell me exactly what this violation was since I had run the exact same ads for 2+ years.

They wrote back and said that I had been banned because of the business practices of my website h**p://linden-method(dot)com. That they had received several complaints about my website.

That's great, except h**p://linden-method(dot)com is not my website, I am not an affiliate and I have no ads for linden-method.com. I hadn't even heard of the website until I got the email.

So basically all of my income is gone from Adwords simply because someone complained about some website I have never even heard of.

What the hell Google, are you getting so big you can't even tell who is advertising what so you just do a blanket ban on people?

Well if you don't have that URL in AdWords show them. They should then reactivate the account. Don't give up so soon.

google's policies are constantly changing, and as of lately they've decided to start mass-banning a lot of small-time affiliates.

so even if you've been running the same thing for 2 years, you could still get the boot.

however if you've never even run that url anywhere, then you might be able to appeal successfully.

Google Adwords dropped a lot , before they have speedy reviews on your ads, now it takes up to a week, 2-3 days OK, but a week, no, some people used to make a living from adwords!
