Google Adwords taking me to court

hello all,
at the end of 2018 i had a shopify store where I sold in-game currency. i got some sales as I used google adwords. Now it stopped the maximum amount I could reach that time which was €377.50. I have never paid that money to them as i have read somewhere on bhw that all they will do is just send a letter each month (which they did) and after that just stop asking to pay. Today i got the final letter of them where they say if I don't pay the money before the 5th July their client will be advised to pursue Legal Proceedings for the recovery of this debt where I will be liable to pay interest and court fees.

Is this real or are they just bluffing? any experience??
I just turned 18 year old 2 weeks ago so I don't feel like going to court already

I suppose it really depends on your country and how easy it would be for them to pursue the debt. Judging by the fact that you are quoting euros I guess you are in a European country and it would be relatively simple for them to pass the debt to a debt collector who would handle everything for them.

My advice, pay the ticket. It's not exactly a life changing sum of money.

Somebody with a bit more knowledge may have better advice though.

I'm from Belgium. It's a lot of money tbh as i had other plans to use the money for. I think you're right and I should just pay it, otherwise I'm gonna get in trouble in the near future
 
Maybe you can setup a small payment plan to avoid court and keep good credit. Setup a new adwords account or figure out a new way to make even more money. You can make a ton of money, just keep learning and growing. Good luck!!
 
Wait let me understand it correctly.

U used a threshold account of adwords and u deleted your credit card and didn't pay the amount that google loaned u?

or

U sold a non working game currency where ur customer is threatening u? @JamieJayden

Also, can you put a screenshot of the whole email?
 
If you can't pay it all upfront, you should see if they're willing to set up a payment plan for you

The credit card connected to it was from skrill which I filed as 'lost or stolen' which meant skrill blocked it and send me a new one for €10 with a new number etc

That still does not answer what I wanted to know.

U owe the money to whom? AdWords threshold or?
 
Don´t worry. They send similar emails to all who dont pay. There is nothing they can do. Ignore it and move on.

It is literally a dinner for three in Belgium.
 
Reminds me of the cease and desist letters i was getting from ebay. Get a new bank account new ip, fresh install windows and tell them to charge to game
 
You could also ask Edward Snowden for a room in his place :)
 
You was under 18 when they gave you credit? As in most eu country's your not allowed to be accepted for credit before the age of 18 so if Belgium is the same then you could send them a letter about there irasponcable lending and they should squash the debt as you could take it further
