Okay, so I use adwords to promote just 1 site.

Recently I added another site so I was promoting 2 now. The site I added didn't perform too well for me so I took it off.

So I went back to just promoting the original site..

Okay so then I get an email from LPQ support (google) saying that it's my final warning because of low quality score of my sites.

They tell me the 2 sites in question.

The first site is the one I mentioned above - I really don't care if it's low quality because I don't want to promote it anyway..

The second site is a site I don't even own. Maybe a year ago I tried to promote a clickbank product through ppc and this is the url they have included.. The url wasn't my specific affiliate one but the actual home page of the website - which obviously I have no control over!

Okay so I don't want to promote either of these two websites anyway - do I just ignore this email or are there steps I should be taking? I'm confused as both the urls they have a problem with are paused or disabled campaigns that I don't want running anyway..

Thanks in advance!

So long as the campaigns are not running you should be ok. To improve a low quality score make sure the information on the page is closely related to the info in your ad. Send G an email saying what you did here, that way you can be sure not to lose your adwords account.

I don't use either of the websites anymore.

The first one I don't use any more

The second one I don't own so I can't change anything!

Both of these urls are in inactive campaigns..

It doesnt matter if its inactive. It better be deleted not just paused. In other words if you still have the url in any ad that is paused the flagging continues. You should delete the adgroup completely so the url to the slapped domain DOES NOT exsits anywhere in your campaigns.

I got the same email and i was down for 3 days. After i asked them to look into why i was told that it was because when a real human checked my url the site was down which i find hard to believe. So they re enabled it. I was lucky but i get no more warnings. After this i believe they will simply suspend my account.

Also, your ads has to match your landing page or site. In other words if you say in your ad;

Is product x a scam?

The destination URL better go to a page that answers the question and doesn't just talk about how you cured your problem with a testimonial.

prepare to lose your acct soon, and look into how to get a new one :P

I don't understand why so many people get their AdWords accounts locked!? I run some pretty "black hat" campaigns per se, and I've never, ever had Google threaten me. You guys must be promoting some stuff you're not supposed to be promoting.

I receive an email too. Now I'm scared to promote my newly created site. Its a simple lead capture page that teaches people some online method.

I think lead capture pages are not allowed anymore because in their email they said.

Landing pages advertised via AdWords must have relevant, original content, and must be transparent about the nature of the business being promoted. Further, advertisers are prohibited from promoting certain types of sites, which include, but are not limited to:
* Data collection sites that imply delivery of free items, etc., in order to collect private information
What do you think? adwors is my main tool in generating targeted leads. I'm planning to promote my site in their content network.

Thanks

I got this too , had some old campaings as paused. Other one was zip submit and other one , well i think they had changed the site at some point since i don't remember seeing that page before :P

well i deleted the campaings for now

I guess you should try e-mailing them and solve the issue before you get a ban.
They sometimes ban and ask questions later ;)

safest bet here is correct problem and e-mail them to prevent ban -- usually ban comes first if there is no reply

email them although it may take a while for them to respond...

I received the same letter.
I have promptly deleted the campaign and write a simple letter telling them that I have deleted the campaign.

Here is the answer I received.

[FONT=verdana, courier new,courier,tahoma,sans-serif]Thank you for your email. I see that you have received a warning email
regarding landing page quality violations.

After a site violates Adwords policy and is disabled for Adwords,
advertisers can make changes to the landing page of the site and escalate
for our review. If approved during the review, the site may be re-enabled
for Adwords and the account violations may be removed. Paused ads will
still be reviewed based on our guidelines. Pausing or deleting ads related
to the disabled sites will not automatically re-enable the ads.

You have received a poor landing page quality score for "Unacceptable
Business Practices." We have found certain categories of websites to be of
poor quality due to multiple complaints from users and publishers about
inaccurate or misleading claims regarding the product being promoted.

Please note that the decisions we make concerning advertising in no way
affect the search results we deliver. Google strongly believes in freedom
of expression and therefore offers broad access to content across the web
without censoring search results. At the same time, we reserve the right
to exercise editorial discretion when it comes to the advertising we
accept on our site, as noted in our program Terms and Conditions. Visit

Hope this will help.

I have no freaking idea why google gets these low quality scores from. It seems like a mystery to me. My page is directly related to my keywords, I bid enough, says my terms are too "general" WTF. I am advertising exactly what is on my website??????

I really dont get what they are doing related to Quality score lately because it seems that there are guys doing massive campaigns with KW spam some how. I see a lot of ads for swapink or whatever it is called on Tons of sites in different niches. I also see Hostgator ads all over as well. Now I know the image ads are a different beast but how are guys doing all the search and content network stuff with Totally irrelevent ads and not getting a response from Big G.

Best of luck to the op I really hope things get worked out and you get past this. The letter shown as a response has me even more confused.
