Yes check every article on your website. If they are copied from other sites erase them. You can keep the articles that are unique to your website and nicely written. When you reach about 10-15K unique handwritten content do the TOS and Contact US pages. Fix any issues about your theme and make sure it is mobile ready. After that resubmit your site. OP; You need to delete the existing scraped/spun crap content and replace this with fresh, unique and high quality written ( not spun / scraped )content.

Yes you don't need 50 Articles. You need about 10-15 well written articles which is about 10K in words. I know a guy do it all the time. To check your articles are unique copy the first 1-2 lines of your article and paste it on google. If it does give returns than the articles are used somewhere else. If not they are probably unique.
