Are you guys making money from Google AdSense? Have you noticed this change?

Google has reduced payouts by up to 90% compared to last year.

The top CPC countries now have the same payout rates as the lowest-ranking countries in the past.

For example, Sweden and the Netherlands used to have CPC rates of $0.2 - $0.3, but now they are only $0.03 - $0.06.

My earnings have dropped by 90%. Right now, AdSense is incredibly difficult to make money from.

Do you have any strategies to optimize for this situation?

It's not just those countries. I've analyzed all country groups from the top to the bottom of the ranking. Every country has seen CPC rates drop to their lowest levels ever.

Specifically, the lowest-ranking countries now have CPC rates of just $0.01, and many people are complaining about this issue.

yeah you were right, i just checked my adsense account and i saw super low cpc happen to Tier 1 countries.
 
One thing that might help is enabling Auto Ads. They can sometimes identify higher-performing placements that you wouldn’t think of manually. It’s worth a try to see if it boosts your overall earnings.
 
Yeah, CPC is tanking hard—best bet now is to diversify with native ads and push traffic, don’t rely on AdSense alone anymore.
 
now Adsense calculates CPM/RPM not CPC. so, even if it is low, payout/revenue purely depends upon CPM/RPM rate.
My RPM is $4 which was increased from $2.3 gradually.
Main countires: US, Canada, India, Singapore, Germany.
 
Yeah, AdSense CPC tanked hard, not just you. Focus on geo-targeting low competition countries, diversify traffic sources, and mix in native or push ads to balance income. Don’t rely solely on AdSense now, gotta hustle multiple streams.

Adsense is dead for high CPC like it used to be. I’d shift traffic to affiliate offers or direct deals, squeeze value from email lists, and stop relying on clicks alone.
