google adsense ads more is better?

I've always been under the impression that more google ads on your site is not always better but it seems a lot of people are stuffing as many ads as possible into their site.

When i tried stuffing my sites with more ads it seemed the average CPC for my site went down due to too many ads because google did not seem to have enough advertisers competing for my keyword to fit 3 ad blocks.

What are your experiences with this?

Similar - less is more when it comes to CPC.

Overall same experience.
