Hi all, I see that still let Google Ads on verticals related to YouTube videos on the main page about the award or x2. Can anyone tell me which countries are better not to specify in the targeting for such a video?

Best is to ignore EU countries, stick to Asian countries

USA, Canada, Australia, Great Britain – high CPC and fierce competition
Germany, France, Netherlands – expensive markets with saturated advertising

Try better countries in Eastern Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia

I setup a new adsense account and a new website, both about a couple months old.

I am able to setup display banners but the auto-ads for related search ad block isnt showing (it shows as an option in my adsense account, everything was done properly but the actual site isnt showing). I have done the reseach that its when google deems appropriate to be shown (I get that part)

I’ve seen mixed information around things like:
  • Account age
  • Site history vs brand-new sites
  • Content depth and structure
  • Traffic sources (organic vs discovery/social)
  • Geo focus (US vs non-US)

Just looking for insight from publishers who’ve legitimately seen these units appear in their AdSense accounts.

If you’ve had Related Search show up:
  • How long did it take?
  • Was it site-specific or account-wide?
  • Did it appear automatically or after certain changes?

Any real-world experience would be appreciated.

From my experience, it’s safer to avoid Tier-1 US, UK, CA, AU, EU). Tier-2/3 usually pass easier, but testing small is key.

Avoid high-risk regions like US, UK, and Germany for that type of content. Stick to smaller markets where rules are looser, traffic costs less, and bans happen slower. Always test low budget first to see what sticks.
