Google Ads stuck on "Verifying your account" - 4 days now!

I try to start new campaign for my business. I add my card, make the ad, but it stay on "Verifying your account" for 4 days.
No email, no support reply. I use fresh Gmail and real credit card.
Is this normal in 2026? How much time I wait before I delete and try again? I need traffic fast!

Don't delete it! If you make new one now, Google will ban you for 'Suspicious Payment'. Just wait, sometimes it takes 7 days for manual check now.
 
Did you use a VPN? If yes, that's why. Google hates VPN during signup. Always use home internet or 4G mobile data for fresh accounts.
 
Try to spend $10 on a 'Smart Campaign' first. It’s easier to pass verification with a simple Smart Campaign than a complex Search one.

Start the advertiser verification and complete the verification process. It often happens that Google does not check from Friday to Monday. Usually no more than a day on weekdays.

I wouldn’t panic. Four days for verification is long, but nowadays a lot of platforms really slow down because of security and anti-fraud checks. A fresh Gmail and a real card is good, it’s just that sometimes the automated systems get “stuck.” I’d wait a couple more days, and if nothing changes, then you can try creating a new account or reaching out to support through another channel

I completely agree with the advice to wait it out, as deleting the campaign too early can indeed flag your account and reset the verification process. Has anyone had any success with reaching out to support to expedite the verification process, or is it generally recommended to just wait the full 2 weeks if it goes into manual review? Additionally, checking for profile mismatches is a great tip, are there any specific areas of the profile that are commonly overlooked and can cause verification stalls?
 
You can try resetting your billing information and verifying it again.
 
If you have uploaded genuine and valid documents, they should be approved instantly. The process is taking longer because ADS cannot verify the accuracy of the documents you uploaded.

4 days is longer than usual, but it’s not uncommon now especially with fresh Gmail accounts.
Google has been stricter with new accounts in 2026, especially if there’s no account history or prior spend. Sometimes verification can take 3–7 days.
I wouldn’t delete the account yet. Creating another fresh one too quickly can trigger more flags.
Make sure:
Billing name matches exactly with your card
Address matches your payments profile
No VPN during setup
If you need traffic urgently, you might consider warming the account slowly instead of restarting.
