Google Ads On My Youtube Channel - WTF?

I just checked one of my YT channels that I haven't checked in a couple of weeks and there is a block of Adsense ads in the top right hand corner of it. I didn't apply for YT partner so I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what is going on.

Can YT put Google ads on my channel without me knowing about it, or without my permission? Has somebody hacked my account or what? I never got any emails from YT either so I don't know what is going on. Maybe this is normal? IDK

Youtube in monetizing more and more of their videos. This is nothing out of the ordinary.

Ok so YT is putting this on my channel...so maybe I could apply for parnter on that channel. What do you think? Is that a viable option? I would like to link my own adsense account to that channel...is getting some views.

You can't apply unless they invite you to do so. They have been inviting more and more people lately though.

Ok, so they get to fuck me backward and forward...I put up the vids and draw traffic and youtube gets to profit from it. Wonder how they decided to put their own ads on my channel?

YT crossed out bout 20 of my vids recently and some of them were in this account. I got 1 vid in this account that has good views and comments and all 5 star ratings so they are basically fucking me on this. Makes me think I'm on the right track at least.

To be fair, they need to make up for their losses. Their bandwidth bill alone for 2009 is estimated at 300$ million... which means, YouTube is still not profitable to Google.

Yea I heard bout the bandwith thing,,, this is a small-time operation tho. I only had my channel just for a few months or so,,,does that mean that YT can take over all my channels (it is a takeover in my mind) if they get popular?
