I’ve been looking into Google Ads but it feels a bit overwhelming at the start, for those who learned it recently, what helped you get it faster?

To learn you need to start and make mistakes. Are you interested in running WH or BH ads?

Start with Search Ads in Google Ads: choose a product, learn how to select keywords, then write ad copy and run a small budget to test. This is a practical advice for you to implement if you are lost with all the information.

There are certain keywords that you could use to learn more about Google Ads, especially if you could use AI it would be quite easy.
To make sure that you know exactly what you are digging into, I would recommend you to learn about the general changes of Google Ads in the past 3-5 years.

That way you will be able to see a bigger picture on what Google is updating and where it is aiming. With that information about Display or the changes of Performance Max, you will be able to get ahead of most newbie and know exactly where should you focus on in the beginning stage of your journey.

Yeah I think that’s where I’ve been stuck too much theory not enough action, I’ve been overthinking campaigns instead of just launching something simple and learning from it

is there any platform where i can start my fundamental learning of google ads?

Find someone on YouTube who explains things well and watch their videos. Also, play around with the panel a bit and learn how it works.

Youtube, tutorial articles, online courses and mentors to discuss ideas and solutions with are your best friends and yet - no theory can beat practice itself. Until you've solved a decent amount of challenging cases you cannot truly know what you're actually dealing with. Keep the fire burning and don't give up!
