I'm wondering why I get almost zero engagement from smm panel google ads, even discovery ads? I'm lucky to get even 2 likes for 10k views. I know these ads aren't targeted but I've gotten way better engagement from native ads which are also not targeted, even rav views which are adverstiment redirects give me better engagement. The Google ad views show as youtube advertising in the analytics, and the views never drop so I'm assuming they are real. Anyone here have the scoop?

It looks like the views are not targeted or come from a country that does not speak the language of your target group

I've tried smm google ads from English speaking countries as well, and still no engagement. Even untargeted ads should still have engagement, not necessarily positive engagement but at least dislikes or negative comments. I've tried native ads and according to my analytics ,those views are coming from embed ads on mostly Indian porn sites, and I still get more engagement than the Google ads.

You should examine the advertising reports in detail

I'm gonna request the reports from the panels, we'll see if they actually provide them. I think you're on to something.

As far as i know if someone watches a ad on youtube he would need to click on the title than go to your youtube video and than press the like button in my expectation that is very unlikely

With discovery ads, they are seeing your video as a suggestion on the side . In stream ads have low engagement even if you are running them yourself because they are not meant to promote youtube videos because the person has to skip the video they're watching to see yours. I'm running discovery ads so the engagement should be much higher. I'm just thinking Google can detect the views are coming from unpaid threshold accounts so they are limiting the engagement.
