Google Ads for CBD

Anyone know how to get CBD ads live on Google? Everytime I try to create a campaign it doesn't get approved yet there are other sites on paid ads? Would also pay if someone can guarantee me getting ads live

You can cloak, but it's going to be a never ending battle and hassle setting up new domains, accounts etc.

All the CBD offers I see say Absolutely No Paid Google traffic. Which sucks because I use the stuff.

I found out the hard way. Will not work. And when only temporary. Same with FB ads. Stuff is legal in my country yet i cannot advertise it on any of the big Social platforms.

Sucks because in the week my ads were Auto approved i sold 5 grand worth with an adspend of about 300.

The problem is that CBD oil can contain THC and if it's above a certain level, it is an illegal drug.

True, however - I am a registered reseller in my country. All my products are registered with the FDA equivalent here and I adhere to all limits and levels (here THC is allowed of sub 1%, which is rather high compared to other Europe). But still, if pay taxes on each sale and everything is fair and square, why would Facebook or Google mind... I guess they are afraid of repercussions from Politics, but the recent hearings have clearly shown that this is not the Problem with Facebook and Google, but rather the targeting and tracking across various platforms.

I'm also involved in CBD and manufacture my own oil. The company that does this for me and bottles the oil has each batch sent for inspection and certification that that the THC level is below the legal levels.

The problem is that not all manufacturers are doing this and because of the high cost of the pure CBD oil, people are searching for cheaper options (especially from China) where the quality is not as good.

I suspect that Facebook/Google/Microsoft are acting with caution in case someone sells CBD with THC above the legal levels, either intentionally or by mistake. I'm not entirely sure how they police it, but I suspect at some point they will allow CBD for sale.

I sure hope so. When they will allow it i have my adsets and targeting ready. I mean if they are so afraid of legality they could request federal approval in respective countries. I am fully licensed and pay all taxes. I mean, i would be spending on ads, even with age restrictions. But alas, it is their decision. My bet is that once its legal on federal level in USA it would be allowed.

I see CBD ads from a few companies wondering how they're doing it

Google doesn't care if your product is registered with the FDA. I have a client with two products, one pain relief gel that is registered with the FDA and one "hemp" based pain relief cream. The products do not contain CBD but even the word hemp was triggering filters.

I had the hemp product running really good in Google Shopping for a long time and it was selling like crazy. But then the client went on to the product page and wrote: "This product does not contain THC. The hemp oil is derived from cannabis sativa plants" (or something to that effect). BOOM! The product got disapproved and now I can't get it back.

I have 3 Google reps that I work with on Adwords (I manage a lot of accts.) and none of them could help. They claimed that hemp triggered the filter. But if you google "hemp pain cream" you'll see Etsy sellers that make this stuff in their bathtubs being listed on Google Shopping. This is because it's Etsy's product feed and not the actual seller's.

In any case, we have the product live in normal search ads right now. I target CBD keywords but I can't put the word hemp or CBD in the copy or landing page. This makes the QS very low. These ads are not nearly as effective as shopping ads.

I had a lot of success running the product on FB using hemp in copy. However, I had to fight with FB when running the pain relief copy. I had to show them the FDA registration and such. It was a real pain.

I'm happy to consult with you on this but I couldn't guarantee the ads staying live for any length of time. If you setup a virgin shopping feed and don't use the word CBD (use hemp instead but sparingly), you might be able to get it through. Otherwise jump on Etsy and Bonanza and leverage their shopping feeds. Still might not work but that's the best advice I could give you.

I think it's still am problem to get CBD live on google.

How about promoting a biz op for cbd, they can buy the product as well. I will gladly pay anyone that can figure out how to advertise it on FB or any large network.

Am not sure about this method, because this is not a popular method, and the usage is very low in this.

I see couple of competition for cbd ads. i definetly dont see it is restricted in google. You just need to figure out how they are doing.

I was trying google and facebook, both blocked my ads. Although the product is 0% THC and in my country, they don't take it for a drug. Did someone think about a different way of advertising maybe?

You can run ads over Google / Facebook for CBD . For sure account will get burned sometime at first stage sometime when you have added BH ad copy but finally you will get what you are looking for .

Cloaking is the best way to run camps in this particular niche , its not that easy .

You need to test which vertical is working for you . Do some research work before proceeding further check how others are doing that thing .

Soon , you will get a working method for you .
