I know Google Ads Editor exists but I always end up going back to the browser interface out of habit.

Editor seems faster for bulk changes and copying campaigns. But it feels outdated and some newer features are only in the web interface.

For people managing multiple accounts, do you use Editor regularly or mostly stay in the browser? Are there specific tasks where Editor is clearly better and worth the switch?

Honestly, a hybrid approach usually works best. I use Editor for bulk edits, campaign duplication, and fast offline changes. But for anything involving newer features, testing, or detailed optimizations, the browser interface is just more reliable.

I use both but for different tasks. editor is unbeatable when u have to build 10 new campaigns or do bulk find-and-replace for keywords/URLs across multiple accounts. web UI is just too slow for that. but for daily optimization, checking search term reports, and looking at conversion data, i always stick to the browser. editor UI feels outdated but it saves hours of clicking around.

Yeah, i only really touch editor when i need to push massive keyword lists or copy-paste tracking templates across accounts. doing that in the browser is a nightmare and half the time the tab freezes up. but for daily bid adjustments or checking search terms the web ui is just easier to digest. @ClickProfitHub is right about the find and replace though, that alone saves so much time.

one thing editor is great for is drafting everything offline first so you don't trigger weird automated policy flags while you are still building out the campaigns... seen that happen a few times when working on tighter niches. if you are managing more than 5 accounts it is worth getting used to it just for the backup and export features alone.

Editor is worth it just for QA before posting imo. I’ll build/duplicate in Editor, then use the “check changes” view to catch dumb stuff like wrong final URL, missing label, old tracking template, paused ad group copied over etc. Browser is better once traffic is live, especially for assets and newer campaign types... but if you manage multiple accounts and don’t use Editor for backups/export before big changes, you’re making life harder than it needs to be.

I'm kind of the same way. For day to day management I usually end up in the browser because that's where the newest features show up first and it feels more convenient. Where Editor really shines for me is bulk work. If I need to make changes across dozens of campaigns, copy structures, edit large numbers of ads, or make offline changes before pushing everything live, it's much faster than the web interface. I don't see it as an either or choice anymore. The browser is for management and analysis while Editor is for heavy lifting.

editor sync conflicts are the one thing that bites me sometimes... if you build everything offline and someone else (or an automated rule) changed stuff in the browser meanwhile, you can accidentally push old data over the live version. i always hit get latest changes before posting now, learned that the hard way.

other than that yeah the csv import is underrated. if you keep keyword/ad lists in sheets you can just paste straight in and skip half the manual work. browser cant really compete with that for volume.

agree the new campaign types are still browser only though, pmax and the asset stuff lags behind in editor. so its never gonna fully replace the web ui, just handles the grunt work better.
