Heard people talk about sending fake clicks to boost CTR so QS goes up. Is this still working or just a waste of money now?

Safer to just fix ad copy and targeting. Artificial CTR can boost for a while but usually short-lived.

Fake clicks can harm your account more than help; quality engagement is still key for QS.

If you mix organic signals (social traffic, branded searches) with CTR bots, it’s harder for Google to catch. Pure bot traffic looks fake.

Quality engagement is the best, fake clicks can harm your account more than help.

Artificial clicks might show short bumps, but platforms are good at filtering them — improving real relevance is usually the safer bet

Not worth it, fake clicks usually waste money, risk account bans, and Google’s detection will punish you long‑term.

It’s pretty much a waste now—Google’s algorithms are smart enough to catch that, and it’ll likely just drain your budget without improving performance.
