Google Ads Account temporarily suspended

Hello,

i bought an aged google Ads account from a user here which was suspended today - yesterday ive set up a warmup campaign with 5$ daily budget to advertise a coffeeshop in the US (only afterwards ive noticed that the google account is based in russia/russian ip used as proxy).

Today i got this prompt:

Your account is suspendedThere seems to be unauthorized access attempts or activity in your account. To protect your security, we have temporarily suspended this Google Ads account.


What did i do wrong here? Was trying to advertise a US Site with a russian Ads account the issue or something else?
Is there any way of unlocking that account again since it says "temporarily suspended"?

To be honest, this question would belong to open forum if you have made that account yourself.

If you bought it - it's between you and account seller. ALWAYS when you buy account you should also receive terms of how that account should be used to avoid getting banned. Google has many filters to detect sold accounts. People sell accs with cookies, whole browser sessions, ip attached, rdp access.

If you just received login and password without even know what geo is that account from - chances of getting suspended are very high.

Did you ask the seller? What did he say? That's weird that they haven't said it was a Russian account.

I recieved the whole Session for the Antidetect browser including a proxy. The Account was already signed in. Its a trusted seller which is selling for quite a while on here. I already asked him but i want to get second opinions aswell.

Then i topped up the account with 60$ - worked fine aswell. Afterwards i created a campaign which was posted without any problems. Lastly i was refreshing the browser every hour or so to check if the campaign already landed some clicks. After 3-4h or so i was prompted to login again after a refresh. I logged in next morning when i recieved the password and then also noticed the suspension.

Yes he said that the account was previously used in the US but the underlying account has a russian proxy attached - so there was nothing wrong in posting the warmup campaign on that random coffeeshop in the US.


I just made my appeal to Google, do you guys think that the suspension will be lifted? I can assure that its not a hacked account and that the "suspicious login attempt" was triggered by myself (i think that might have been me refreshing the page every hour).

That seems to be a hacked account mate.
Better buy accounts from trusted sources next time.

I don't think it should cause suspend if the account ip and the country you advertise with do not match. I don't think this is the reason.

"unauthorized access or activity" it stated. I have not encountered this warning before in my accounts.

@TextExploit prediction may be correct. or different login attempts made in a short time may also cause this. I think it has not relevant with your ad and ad location.

correct. also, it's possible that previous owner was notified by google and tried to log in again but as password was changed he couldn't log in.

also, people have been sued when they use hacked ad accounts, so be aware of that

Most of these accounts remain locked after suspicious login
