Google Add Site - Is it safe?

Hello!
I noticed that posts on my blog sometimes are not indexed by google (even after 4-5 days). When I add them to google manually they jump to top 1-5 with my kw in a few seconds.

I heard that adding manually sites may be dangerous for the domain.
Is it true ?
If yes, what are the limits?
If I submit 1-5 url's manually a day, will it be ok ?


Any help appreciated

It's safe enough I suppose.

I wouldnt exactly poke the bear though, in my opinion, you submitting your site to me, shows you have above average intelligence when it comes to SEM and that you may be more likely to abuse your knowledge. I'd let it happen naturally.

Do you mean webmaster tools "fetch as google"? I use this a lot for nearly every new page. I have never heard of negative impacts and I haven't seen any. I will be careful in the future though if I find any horror stories.

Yes you can add your site manually in the google adward tool it is not harmful for your ranking.

I don't see the reason of why it could be not safe. But it's better to refresh your sitemap or get more links to your site so that Googlebot could visit it more often. Do you have some other websites where you could put links to 3-5 latest blog posts from the RSS feed?
