I put out an article on my blog last week that did really well. It got over 2k impressions and several unique views and even a lot of engagement. But my Google ad sense account is not registering any views or clicks and hasn't for the last while. I always thought this was because my website had too little traffic but this week this wasn't the case and I didn't see anything. I see Google Ads active on the page but when I go into adsense it shows no metrics for the ads.

Help! I was also registered with Google adsense for a YouTube account years ago. I heard this might have something to do with the problem.

Also, I checked and my website is not banned from Ad Sense. So what is going on?

Could be due to adblockers, people are just blocking ads

I mean sure but it seems highly improbable. I've had the site up for years and put in ads within the last year. I'm at least making a couple cents of WP ads. It seems more likely that my Google Ad Sense account is not set up properly. And I see the ads on my website live.

why dont you setup ads again. ? create new ad units and implement the new code. are you using wordpress?

have you verified the site???
if not go to settings and add your site into verified site

Make sure you putten the ad code within the <head></head> section

I tried this yesterday and still nada. Yes, I'm using WordPress's Business Plan.

It's verified.

Because I'm using WordPress.com's business Plan, so it has to be done through a plug-in. I've tried adding code myself to the <head> tag before and it didn't work too well. I contacted WordPress and they basically said it can't be done on the dot.com version without a plugin iirc.

My CPC is Very Low. How To Increase My CPC.

There may be this Reasons:
1. Your traffic has used Adblockers,
2. Max. of your readers did not click the ads,
3. May be you have used some black hat ways to generate traffic

1. This is not mathematically plausible.
2. Maybe, but they would still show impressions. Which is a metric still not showing up in performance reports and again it's not mathematically plausible that over 2,000 views all had ad blocker on.
3. No. I don't use BH techniques. This was organic traffic.

Have you checked whether you have entered the right publisher code?
Otherwise, if they are not registering the hits, those could be hits from bots, which does not count as a visitor hit.
You can check this by your traffic checking add-on, if you are using cpanel, or if you have a traffic tracking module, you can examine what sort of traffic were those from the 2k views.
I'm guessing those are most probably bot/crawler hits?

It's the right publisher code. My website has Google analytics integrated. I will say WordPress says it's over 2K while GA does not. Still has a higher than average number of views.

Also, those were not bots lol. I had engagement with real people commenting and being furious about a certain post lol.
