Google account phone verification??

What the hell is up with google these days? I just need a google account to plug into a keyword research tool but they insist on phone verification now which I've never had to do before - surely there is a way around that??

I've tried entering all sorts of real looking info including other email accounts, going through proxies in different countries, going direct from my own country, deleting cookies, using various browsers including newly installed just for this etc etc but no luck.. damn thing is p!ssing me off!

I swear the more difficult they make things these days the more inclined I am now to spam the holy sh!te out of them in every way possible!

I feel your pain GoFoMo although I've always had the option to "skip this step" clearly visible. And you're right, the more G tries to improve its services especially with the intuitive touch the sicker I get from all of it.
