Hi just installed the +1 button to my websites. Will this have any affect on the ranking of my websites?

Well I have read mixed reviews on other sites so its a little confusing! some say its just an experiment some say it does not have anything to do with ranking!

Loads of sites do not even have it installed! So not sure if it is just a waste of time

I wouldn't have a business selling +1's If they didn't have a impact.

There is no proof or any legitimate case studies to conclude that +1 impacts rankings. Jerzydawg, i'm sure if you did one and saw positive results, your business will blow up. Just a thought..

At the moment it only seems to effect the search results when someone you know has +1'ed something - it will show up much higher
