Google +1 and ie7

Yes according to google themselves. It isn't supported in IE. You will have to get some "hacks"... Hmm, maybe if you fix your markup it will work. Replace the charset encoding from utf-8 to iso-8859-1 and downgrade from xhtml strict to xhtml transitional. Or perhaps it might have conflicts with the FB button. Or try putting the javascript src right before the </body> ( I doubt it would work though. )

Thanks il give it a go. Have seen a few ppl talking about hacks, so I'm sure it's doable.
I know ppl complaign about ie (I use opera personally) but it amazes me that google would launch +1 and have it incompatible with ie7 it's ridiculous!

I know and I agree, ie9 is "starting" to get good. But still, I still vaguely optimise my site for ie6 ! Just do I accommodate everyone and it's not that hard.
I just don't understand if you run a global service, why block out a very real percentage of users? It can't be that hard to include ie7 users surely?
