Hello everyone, I've run Google Ads at the city level in several cities. To verify these, I use AdsPower and corresponding proxies that are located in the city. However, I have the impression that I'm not getting the picture of a normal user who typically searches for my service once. How can I fix this problem, or what would be a setup where I'm really a new user every time? Something with rented phones would also be nice...

thanks and greetings...

Can I ask why you need to keep looking for your ads?

I run tons of local campaigns and never encountered this need.

City proxies in AdsPower aren’t enough Google spots reused fingerprints. For real “new user” traffic, rent clean Android phones (OnWorks, etc.) with dedicated 4G/residential proxies from the same city. One phone = one search, no reuse. If sticking to desktop, use GoLogin with fresh profiles + matching city proxy + geolocation spoof per session but mobile still works way better.

Yes, I'm using AdsPower and Dolphin Anty. Now I have five Android phones with Panda for control. They all have a different IP address via a suitable proxy in the city. I also have "fake GPS" running. But I don't think the setup is 100% clean yet!? So I'm hoping to get more information here.

Google usually recognises repeated proxy/device patterns, so it won’t look like a fresh user each time. For better testing, try mobile 4G/5G proxies or real device setups like rented phones or SIM-based connections, since they rotate IPs more naturally and mimic real users better.

I think I'm using the appropriate proxies. On my own phones, I also use Firefox, which deletes all cookies after closing. But somehow the GPS faker is still causing problems.

GPS fakers often get flagged. Real 4G/5G mobile proxies with SIM rotation work better since IP and location match naturally.

I’ve had a similar issue before, proxies sometimes don’t fully mimic a real new user. Mixing devices or fresh setups usually gives more accurate results.

When you’re checking Google Ads visibility with AdsPower + proxies, Google usually doesn’t treat you like a “fresh real user.” The fingerprint, cookies, and proxy type (datacenter vs residential) matter a lot. If you want results closer to what an actual first-time searcher would see, you should use a clean browser profile every time plus residential or mobile proxies instead of datacenter ones. If budget allows, cloud/rented phones with real SIM-based connections give the most accurate view, since they simulate a true new user from the right city. In short: rotate profiles + use residential/mobile IPs for low/mid budget setups, and rented phones if you need 100% realistic testing.

Doing regular checks and small tweaks is crucial. Start by reviewing performance fluctuations—look at what changed recently in settings, bids, budgets, or targeting.
Then dig into the ads themselves: test new creatives, pause weak ones, and optimize what’s showing.
Finally, make sure tracking and conversions are still accurate—if your data is off, all your decisions will be off too.
Small consistent adjustments beat big one-time overhauls.

I now have the following setup:

- 5 Android phones
- Each with its own mobile proxy IP from the appropriate city
- GPS faker in different parts of the city for each phone
- Cookies are always deleted (Firefox)
- No cell phone is registered with Google

We are now upgrading to 10 cell phones and then to 20.

I've been using Multilogin for ages. I once had a guy on this forum build me a GUI for their API to do a similar project to what you're doing.

The reason you feel like the ads aren't "normal" is likely because you aren't warming the browser. The browser/device signals are more important than the IP signals (IMO). You're going to want to establish each browser profile as a "person" and then try to blend in with the crowd.

The algorithms in use by Google, etc., are ingesting billions of signals every day. If your signals fall within the expected behavior of the average user, you won't encounter issues like the ones you're having.

Here's a stack/tips that might work for you:
  • Proxidize - Use your android devices to create mobile proxies.
  • Multilogin or some other antidetect with the ability to heavily customize your fingerprint.
  • Script for browsing and collecting cookies (Multilogin has CookieRobot but there are others out there I'm sure).
  • Don't delete cookies in the browser. Cookies are your friend when trying to emulate legitimate use.
  • Don't use Firefox, at least not for ALL of your activity. Most users will be on Chrome or Safari.
Good luck!

I’ve run into this too proxies don’t always behave like a true new user. Using different devices or a clean, fresh setup usually gives more reliable results.
