Are you serious? This is in Germany. Youtube is worldwide. Youtube isn't going anywhere.

But if the case is won and youtube lose an appeal you can see every music studio opeing up similar cases in their country and using this ruling to win and get damages. Youtube needs to win an appeal.

Not the end at all, if anyone has ventured into youtube in germany, you will see that most videos with background music will play via youtube, but when viewed over a german IP it will say the content is blocked, they have a lot of stupid rules in Germany. Certainly not the end. And huge bill???? I doubt its even going to be a 6 figure fine. Hardly huge for a site that earns 3 times that each day
