I love reading boastful posts from know it alls like you, that pass judgement upon people for complaining about what Facebook is doing. Believe it or not, there are other people out there, and other businesses that depend on facebook besides your 50k and 350k pages. Many people use Facebook to support businesses, for example a Military Veteran I used to partner with, that uses her journalism to put food on the table for her children. This also isn't just about what you do, Facebook is crushing the news. If you don't see the danger in having just massive corporate media outlets provide news with no independent or smaller news agencies in the mix then you're blind.

There are entire economies that revolve around facebook pages, suddenly that money is just gone. Somewhere there's some independent artist that was using their facebook page to promote their products, but after the 80% reach reduction, they just won't be able to make it. Fuck them though right?

You also say that people who quit suck and can't do it, I'll think of that in 30 minutes when I go fire up my Corvette. Might not be the best car around, but when I saw what facebook was doing, I sold all my pages and made enough money to buy a few toys and get married to an amazing woman. I'll think about how bad I suck the next time I crack it open on the highway...

trained and provided jobs to at least 20 guys and im offering them x5 the salary of their country's basic income
i'm a proud owner of an non profit environmental organization
and managed to build 2 asylums for the homeless providing them a roof to sleep under and 3 meals per day

so yea what i said above still stands if you can't go forward on facebook its because you suck not because of facebook updates

study what the audience likes, study the limits fanpages have insights for a reason
the question is if ur big into facebook and think that fb just keeps on penalizing you update after update and you cant do anything....
before you upload a pic or video to your page ask yourself that question ?
without checking insights do i know how many males/females average age
average engagement/reach % that this post will have with my current niche on that page
will it just bring likes or shares ?

but from the last time i check

if someone has a restaurant at X corner of the city and you choose to open a new restaurant at that X corner you will fail

unless you give something better than the other restaurant....

Nope no changes but from 1st month of 2k18 i see an increase in reach that it had the past 3 months of 2k17

Ups and down I have seen since 2014.
If they close down one door, many people will force to open other door. They can't protect all door at once.

"They" have estimated. Who are they to estimate this? I'm pretty sure I've seen at least 5 services here selling editorial links on Inc, I don't exactly regard wordstream/inc as the goto for facebook analytics...

There will be an impact, but I say this as a full time facebook advertiser; I'm glad this is happening. I am sick and tired of fighting against viral content for adspace when my content is clearly more defined and action based.
