Of course the biggest downside to this method is that there are now 114 different BHW members sending PMs to people on bodyspace, and that number will increase to several hundred once one of the assholes turns this into a PDF and sells it on DP.

The biggest lesson anyone can take from this is... it's all in the twist. Don't do THIS, use it as a framework to make your own ideas. Think "where is there a desperate audience" then figure out an angle to go sell them.

Ummmm, good stuff. Using a forum's own advanced search to target prospects, now that's what I call making forum marketing more efficient.
 
You can also make a small .pdf or something on efficient weight loss/muscle gain or whatever aspect of health and fitness you want to you and post an add up on classified sites saying you are giving a sample of a bigger ebook to test out for free, put your link in there and you are bound to get some returns based on how many people use those sites and how many people are desperate to get in shape.

The method in general is not new. But you put an interesting twist on it by targeting your specifics. That's why you had such a good conversion rate. Congrats!
 
I always wonder how do people fall on this kind of messages. It's obvious spam and it's obvious you're promoting something. Or am I just thinking with IM head, not the dumbass one ? :)
